FAQs & prices

Are the podiums available in different sizes? Yes. On request the shapes and colors can be customized. Within the standard size you can choose any height from 10 cms on.
How much do the podiums cost? We use different types of wood, shapes and colors, depending on the use and request of the players. Therefor we have very different price ranges for the podiums. Please contact us with your questions.
Do the orchestra resonance podiums also work for cello sections? Our sound podiums are available in any heights from 10 cm on. This height enables a cello section to play in the circle with the other string sections without sitting significantly higher than the others.
On a harp podium, can I put the music stand close enough to me when I play? Either the music stand sits on the podium, or you can put it close to the instrument with the feet of the stand partly underneath the harp podium.
Will the sound of the basses not become too loud or boomy? The bass sound becomes clearer and more articulate when you play on a Resonanzio. The variety in sound and volume becomes larger, but the focused sound creates a well heard presence without being to dominant.
How does the resonance podium work without direct contact to the floor, for example for baroque cellos or wind instruments? It's a very good question! We first were sure that the direct ground contact of an instrument is inevitable for a good result of the Klangpodest. After a lot of testing we found out that the sound of pinless instruments also improves by playing on the Resonanzios. Therefore we could conclude: the vibrating resonance plates enhance the accoustic of any room.
Is it possible to try out the podiums in our concert venue? yes that is possible. We have test podiums in different heights, and we can deliver them easily with a shipping company. Please contact us for availability.
Are the Resonanzio sound podiums also suitable as choral or choir risers? Yes, they are perfectly suitable for this matter! The Resonanzio podiums substitute a swing floor, but they also constructed as stable risers in different heights. They do enhance the sound of the choir significantly.
Are the Resonance Podiums easily portable? For the good sound the resonance plate has to be one piece. (Foldable podiums are bad for the sound!) The plate can be separated easily from the frame though. Transportation boxes are available, in which the podiums can be carried very efficiently.
Does Resonanzio also build ordinary risers? Yes, we have developed a basic version, which can be used by violins, viola and wind instruments. These podiums are not designed for any sound enhancement, but they are built in the excellent Resonanzio quality of craftsmanship.
Do you also manufacture the podiums for opera pits? Yes we do. We can build them in black and adjust the sizes and shapes of the podiums to the needs of the venue. we also build basic podiums in black for high instruments, without the resonance concept.
